Voltei há umas 3 semanas mais ou menos da Europa, onde estive trabalhando como Assistant Stage Manager pela Pullmantur no navio Empress. Essa função é um misto de técnico de som, sonoplasta e técnico de iluminação. Com um só salário, claro. O contrato durou seis meses, tendo início em março de 2011 e terminando agora em setembro de 2011. Valeu a pena profissionalmente, pois trabalhei com músicos muito bons e aprendi a mixar para ritmos latinos, como salsa, merengue e bachata, cortesia da banda da República Dominicana, Alegria Tropical, que tinha entre seus integrantes Tania, minha companheira de quarto que se tornou uma grande amiga. Tínhamos também a banda brasileira, Pau Brasil, e um duo, o Duo del Mar. Além disso tínhamos uma equipe de animação que fazia atividades das mais variadas, de quizes a jogos teatrais, e que conta com alguns dos atores mais talentosos que já conheci...
Neste período tive como chefe Sebastian e como companheiros Carlos e Paulo, que é DJ...
Como experiência pessoal também foi incrível, pois conheci Copenhaguen na Dinamarca, Warnemunde, Rostock e Berlim na Alemanha, Tallin na Estônia, Estocolmo na Suécia, São Petersburgo na Rússia e Helsinki na Finlândia. Também conheci gente praticamente do mundo inteiro dentro do navio. Antes disso estive no Horizon, que é da Pullmantur também, mas estava contratada pela CVC e fiz a temporada brasileira, passando por Rio de Janeiro, São Francisco do Sul, Vitória, Itajaí e pela Ilha de Jaguanum onde era a praia privativa.
Na temporada brasileira tivemos 5 bandas: uma de samba, a big band que tocava no teatro, uma de pop-rock, uma de jazz/mpb e o Claudio Camargo, que fazia voz e violão e me deu espaço pra várias canjas ehhehehehe Na temporada brasileira meu chefe foi o Cristian e meus companheiros queridos: Igor, Cesar e Winston. E claro, tivemos uma ótima equipe de animação também!!
Isso foi de 30 de novembro de 2010 a 13 de março de 2011, o que totaliza 9 meses e meio embarcada. Uma odisséia e tanto.
I've been back from Europe around 3 weeks ago, where I was working as Assistant Stage Manager for Pullmantur at the ship Empress. This position is a mix between sound technician, sound designer and light technician. But we get only one wage, of course. The contract lasted for six months, beginning at march 2011 and finishing at september 2011. It was worthy professionally, cause I've got to work with very good musicians and learnt how to mix for latin rhytms such as salsa, merengue and bachata, thanks to the Dominican band, Alegria Tropical, that had among their musicians my roomate, Tania, who became a good friend.
We had also a Brazilian band at the ship, the Pau Brasil, and one duo, the
Duo del Mar. Besides, we had an animation team that did various kinds of activities, from quizes to theatrical games and had some of the most talented actors I've ever met...
At this time I had Sebastian as boss and Carlos and the DJ Paulo as mates.
As a personal experience it was amazing, cause I've got to know Copenhaguen at Denmark, Warnemunde, Rostock and Berlin in Alemanha, Tallin at Estonia, Stockholm at Sweden, Saint Petersburg in Russia ande Helsinki in Finland. I have also met people from many countries at the ship. Before going to Empress I have been at the Horizon, that is from Pullmantur too, but I was hired by CVC and did the brazilian season, being through Rio de Janeiro, São Francisco do Sul, Vitória, Itajaí and at the Jaguanum island, where we had the private beach.
At the Brazilian season we had 5 bands: a samba band, a big band that played at the theater, a pop-rock band, a jazz and mpb band and Claudio Camargo, who did guitar and voice and gave me many opportunities to jam with him heheheheh At the Brazilian season my boss was Cristian and my dear mates were: Igor, Cesar and Winston. And of course we had a great animation team too!
